Will Tv3 bother with the champions league now?

Does no Man Utd in the 2nd round see tv3 in a tricky spot or will it be the making of them? They may actually find out that there are more than two teams in the world - Man Utd and the going down easy, definitely offside, looked like a handball to me Mark opposition of Man Utd.

Do you know they don't give two sh1ts how many times they show the one team? It's all about viewer figures. They won't start mixing around with games now. If Chelsea games consistently get higher figures than Arsenal games then they will continue to show Chelsea games.

You can get a 12 month Al Jazeera subscription for less than the price of our license fee. Just do that and you wont have to complain on here about them showing United.

The point being made from what I can see is that TV3 will always show Manchester United when they play on Tuesdays. They couldn't do it this week as United played on Wednesday.

Tuesday games - TV3
Wednesday games - RTÉ

Its only saving grace is the fact that they have a news broadcast at half 5 which fits perfectly into my schedule with regards to me eating my dinner at half 5.

I know that smartarse. They cant show united because they are out so they will show the other clubs that they show for 50% of the time anyway. So whats the point of this thread considering they show arsenal the other 50%.

I used to when they called it the Uefa cup and they had a knockout from the beginning. Trying to copy the CL format for lesser teams lost its respect

Only because those two clubs played on the same night, did they get fair coverage from TV3 and RTE.

In previous seasons, they would always come up short to United and Liverpool in the coverage.
