Can anyone recommend me a good newish sit-com to watch. Im currently watching Happy Endings (my favourite show at the moment), New Girl (not sure about yet but love schmidt), Modern Family (rarely a bad episode) and The Big Bang Theory (i think im tiring of the jokes now but still better than most shows). I watched the first few episodes of 2 Broke Girls and didnt really like it and seen an episode of Perfect Couples on tv and it didnt look great. any suggestions of a newish show worth watching?

Raising Hope (on it's 2nd season) and two newbies (on their 1st seasons) which I enjoy also are Suburgatory and Up All Night

Community is the finniest thing around in quite a while. It's on to season 3 now so plenty of back episodes to catch up on.

How I met your mother is the other obvious one missing from your list.

    + 1 for Community

Also Cougar Town is quite good, had a much better 2nd season than 1st imo

Rev is a sitcom on BBC 2 very good also

Thanks for the replys, some good shows to pick from, I actually watched the first season of Cougar Town and the first few of the second and really liked it, the group kind of grows on you, think I had exams around then so stopped watching, kind of forgot about it then, ill will catch up over christmas. I watched the first 4 seasons of Its Always Sunny, thought it was good and loved Charlie but dont think its as good as some people who love it, ill probably catch up on it another time. Liked the first 2 seasons of HIMYM but just think it went down from their, there is still some very funny episodes but their outnumbered by some very poor ones. Think il give Up All Night a go, was a big fan of Arrested Development and Will Arnett was my favourite character. I watched half the first season of Community after hearing good things, just thought it wasnt for me, did it get better? I watched some of My Name is Earl and after the feel good factor of the first few episodes i just taught it wasnt funny and a bit dumb and they made Randy so stupid it really annoyed me and made him unbelievable as a character for me, I just taught Raising Hope would be similar, is it? I think iv seen all the episodes of King of Queens on Comedy Central over the last few years, thought it wasnt to bad after the first 2 seasons finding its feet.
Thanks again, I think ill go with Cougar town and Up All Night for now

Community does get a lot better towards the end of season 1, it kinda finds it's rhythm. You should give it another go :) Another show I'd recommend is Party Down. Only watched the first few episodes yet, but it's really good! And Freaks and Geeks is brilliant too, although it's not technically a sitcom :p

Last Man Standing - the US version with Tim Allen is quite good. I really like Suburgatory too. Up All Night very much came from the back with an attrocious pilot and episodes that got better as time went on You could also watch The Middle, now in Season 3 too. It's a great show.
