    Nice capture there Jon - Sounds like another potential payout from the RTE coffers.

    At this rate it'll be 'Play The Game' five nights a week all next year.

    Strange that the BAI don't publish these judgements on their Website or on Youtube - You are expected to religously tune in five minutes before each scheduled programme in order to find out about RTE's latest cockup.

    I can't see these images. What's all this about?

    @squonk

    RTE appear to have landed themselves in doo-doo again. It's the case of the Gardai who were recorded on a camera seized from Rossport protestors and who made the joke about raping the protestors.

    RTE appears to have implied in a news report that this recording was altered or edited and the complainant had their objection upheld that this did them 'undue harm'. Not sure if it's the Gardai in the case who complained or the women who were arrested (and the subjects of the rape joke.)

    It sounds like an error made in good faith, as opposed to the Reynolds case where RTE had to admit that they didn't do proper fact checking and made a false claim when they had evidence in their possession that suggested it to be false. Can't say if any money has been paid out in this; more like a run of the mill BAI ruling.
