iPhone 4S SIM-free in shops?

I think I knew the answer to this one before I even started typing.... Is there anywhere to buy the iPhone 4S SIM-free in besides the Apple Store and Belfast? The Apple Store is saying that I'd need to order before 5th December for pre-Christmas delivery so I couldn't count on that. Compub or the likes hardly stock it do…

No. Only from Apple.

My 4S arrived from Apple in 8 days. You should be okay if you order now. They just can't guarantee you'll get it in time. The only other alternative is go to Belfast.

Tuesday two weeks ago. Arrived in Dublin the following Wednesday and I would have received it that day but the driver hadn't enough time.
