If you can put together a group of 10 then Cobh is €828 for the year (€69 per month) i.e. exempt from paying most of the 3k levy

The downside is that the 10 players must commit to joining for 4 years. If anybody drops out during that time and you can't get a replacement then the rest of the group must pay the 3k levy

Membership is normally €790 plus the levy

If you have no objection to a 9 hole course , Raffeen Creek is just under 500 at the moment.

Kdylass, it really depends on what part of Cork your living? Pick 3 - 5 courses that are handy for you and check them out.

No point joining a course that'll take you an hour and a half to get to no matter how good a deal your getting. (Unless your looking for distance membership ! - whole new debate !)

Can't see them queuing up for that one. Who would put 30000 euro on a golf club bet.
