Samsung 51" Plasma TV - Need Advice

    :)Hi there,

    not very well up on Tv's but in my local currys there is an excellent deal on a 51" samsumg tv

    I want to know what the picture is like, I know hd ready isnt great. This tv is a HD TV

    I'll give ye the spec and hopefully ye might be able to tell me is this is a quality quality picture or what..mainly going to be used for the ps3!

    The screen resolution says 1365 x 768 which isn't Full HD. While the screen may be able to scale full 1080 it will not be full HD. Personally I'd walk away from anything without a native resolution of at least 1920x1080 or simply 1080p, especially in this day and age.

    It will very soon show it's age and you will yearn for full HD once you get a taste for it.

    Edit: Also reading some comments about the reflectivity of the screen surface. Meaning low ambient lighting essential in order for this not to become a mirror in your livingroom !!
