Bus Éireann - Wi-Fi restrictions?

    OK, this may be the wrong forum for this, but does anyone know if there are restrictions on using the wifi service on bus Eireann buses? For instance I can never play a you tube video from my iPhone!

    Ask these guys www.fleetconnect.ie They operate it.

    i'd image there are restrictions given that you have a lot of bored people sharing one link that is flicking between mobile broadband connections (and potentially a sat link).

    I know on VIA Rail Canada's wifi some pages with embedded video have the embed replaced with notices that streaming media is not permitted. Fair enough I think, mobile shared bandwidth on intercity services just can't deal with people who want to torrent or whatever on the move.

    Thanks! I suppose that makes sense as to why these would be blocked. The most annoying this (especially on mobile devices) is that when on a web page, they put a big advert on the top of the page (usually BE or Burger King) which stretches the page and makes it really hard to read the content! Not sure I see any benefit using the wifi service!
