Advice on broken flash

    Hi all,

A friend of mine has a Nikon D40x Digital camera and the flash just stopped working.

It has not been dropped or anything like that. He brought it to a camera shop in Galway and they said they are not allowed fix Nikons and it MUST be sent back to Nikon at a rate just for posting of €90 plus the bill for fixing it.

I am in Dublin and was wondering is there anywhere that it can be brought to?

Thanks in advance for any help
