    As some of you will know from my earlier thread I'm off to Milan this week.

    We're planning on going out one of the nights and I'm hoping some of you might be able to give me some suggestions on where to go.

    Budget isn't an issue within reason.

    Not looking for anything overly formal.

    Any suggestions?

    I haven't been for a couple of years now, but Alcatraz was always banging on a Friday night, at least it was until I got barred. :o

    Rolling Stone was brilliant on Saturdays but unfortunately it's closed.

    Other well-known places include Magazzini Generali (more electro, supposed to be good though I don't think I've been, and if I have been I don't remember it) and Hollywood (fancy, where AC Milan and Inter players tend to hang out).

    One thing I would say is to plan ahead where you want to go. It's not the type of city where you can really wander around and be guaranteed to find somewhere good, so do some research, ask around etc.
