ACT sound file converter

Hi Folks,

I have a dictafone that records in ACT format. Unfortunately, I have lost the CD that came with it and I cant get access to the files.
Each file taken from the dictafone is 240mins long, but when I convert using files I have downloaded from the web, I get a 15min wav/mp3 of white noise.
I have been searching for weeks now with no luck.
It seems I need to find someone who has an equivalent cd.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, doesnt seem to do ACT files. Not included in list, and when I forced it to use it, it just spent 45 min doing nothing.

Thanks for the responses guys, but unfortunately, neither of these 2 software handle ACT files.

If anyone has one of these Dictaphones and has the disk that came with it, could they contact me.

Or, if you know of any other program, as I am at my wits end, please let me know.

Maybe you'll just have to record them directly from the dictaphone to your PC using the headphone socket. Be a bit of work as each file is 240mins but might be only solution

This is UltraDisk's converter . If that one doesnt work you could try the dictaphone manufacturer's support site as the software you need is likely to be available there
