    Just wondering if anyone has done any research into this or knows anything about it.

    if it works, doesn't cost too much:rolleyes::rolleyes:, then it would solve a hell of a lot of problems in the frost:D:D

    i installed 2 of them last weekend .whats the bet we get no hard frost now to see if they work.

    Drain line heaters (same principle) have been used in refrigeration systems for decades. They work well, but are susceptible to regular burnout. Difference being that they run for many hours a day, everyday. Whereas these wouldn't have that problem
