selling a car

    hi sorry if this is in the wrong section. i was thinking of selling my car but have never sold a car privately before only in trade ins and was wondering if anyone could tell me how this is done. if i sell the car do i hand over the log book on reciept of cash and if so who do i then notify so i dont get any speed tickets that arint mine or how is this done thanks for replys.

    have them fill out their details on the logbook and sign it. you should post the logbook away to make sure it is sent to shannon. all the postal info is on the logbook.

    you should take a copy too before posting it to shannon.
