RTÉ Player Live on PS3 browser

So last weekend I decided to watch the Late Late Toy Show for nostalgia reasons. :)

As I live in England I decided to use the RTÉ international Player to watch the LLS live on the PS3 browser. As soon as I did, I got a message about content being unavailable because I was in another territory.

Now that's news to me because the RTÉ News and the LLS and The Saturday Night Show amongst others are freely available on the RTÉ international player. I set up my laptop in the same room and easily streamed the show live from there.

Any idea why my PS3 refused to play it? I tested it by attempting to play the LLS show from the week before (the one with the snake from Fianna Fáil on it*) and that played fine, it just wouldn't play the live stream.

    Any help?

Nope, when my original 60GB Phat died in December 2010 (YLOD) I bought a PS3 Slim 120GB and that's the one I am still using now.

Not an import, no console mods and an excellent, very unrestricted ISP that uses dynamic IPs but all UK based IPs.
