    Going on J1 this summer, heading to new york/new jersey.
    Wondering is there anyone else heading out there up for getting a set together before hand, do a few practice gigs over here, and then doing a few gigs out there for a bit of cash.
    I play bass and do backing vox and a little bit of lead vox.
    Looking for drums, guitars and vocals.

    Hey man,

    Not heading myself, but good luck with.
    A word of advice which you can ignore if you wish;
    Watch out for musicians unions etc for being taxed. Immigration will make your entry hell if you mention your plans to play paying gigs over there. If you have to mention you're playing gigs, it's all for charity - then you are alright.

    Just I had hassle before, managed to get around it.

    All the best
