pup eating cinders

    I just walked in to find my pup eating a cinder from the fire ,cold of course,,just wondering if it is ok for him ??

    Its not going to harm him unless he eats a lot of it - I've seen dogs eat cinders and coal before. Does he have a few chew toys available - does he chew other stuff around the house?

    no he has plenty of chew toys,just there didnt happen to be one in the front room at the time, i guess he had to make do for himself..:rolleyes:
