Had the DPX21s for the past year, no problems until yesterday. Sound is coming through in the headphones but it doesn't sound "full". It makes MW3 sound really bad and can't figure out for the life of my whats wrong.

Dolby light is on the DSS box, everything is connected. Anyone else have any of these issues and sorted them out?

Mine broke last weekend. The left ear thing just kind of snapped. It's hanging by a wire, works but can't really use it.
So lost without them. Using the PX21s and it's just not the same. Ordered replacement from ebay but still not arrived.
They're a good headset but lastability does not seem to be their thing.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by full OP, is it lacking or without bass, mids or highs (treble)? Does the sound come equally from left and right sides?

I play on a monitor and use a vga cable so have an awkward system and notice that the sound in my headphones on occasion doesn't seem "full" or right as it should. When that happens to me is there is no bass and the treble seems off.

What fixes it for me is making sure that all the wires from the xbox to my headphones are tight together and if that doesn't fix it sometimes rotate them slightly in situ.

I'm not familiar with you model but is it possible to use the headphones on an mp3 player and see if it's the cabling or the headphones which are at fault?

I don't know how to describe the sound issue, it just isn't what it was a few days ago. I did stumble in drunk on sat night, maybe I stepped on them.....

I unplug all the cables, plugged it into the xbox, no change. Tried it again on the PS3, nothing.

I've had them over a year now with no issues, I just cant figure out whats wrong. MW3 just ain't the same with the sound from the tv :(

    Pfft. I beat yours.

Although, OP I do +1 everything Yim has said above. I would hazard a guess at the 3.5mm jacks connections not meeting correctly.

Mine broke Saturday evening when I was 1/2 cut.
    1st attempt masking tape.
Result - Masking tape stuck everywhere,scissors,tv,carpet,curtains,cat...

2nd Attempt Try and locate superglue in house
    Result - Wrecked House

3rd Attempt - Buy superglue in shop
Result - Hands stuck to DPX21s

In the end I just got the old PXs out of the closet. I'm giving the broken DPX to my brother's friend who hasn't enjoyed being called a dum fk fa**ot by some 13 year old from Arizona.

On a bright note my new DPXs were in work when I arrived this morning. Now I just want to go home.:(

Looks like mine are bust, hooked em up to the pc and they still give a terrible sound. Found a pair of the headphones on eBay for €55 - surround sound thing still works do I should be sorted again next week!
