Friend took this out of his MG ZS before he sold it, it's barely used and he gave it to my brother for his car for free as he has no need for it ( doesn't like the sound )

It's a Pipercross Viper Induction, 100mm inlet and 150mm ram pipe.

But the thing is my brothers car is a diesel.

A Fabia Vrs, its been remapped, so he is not looking for any extra power from this kit, would just like it to sound good.

    So question is.

    Is if safe to use?

Will it make the diesel sound better?

    Will it lose power?

Personally i wouldn't fit an induction kit unless absolutely necessary.

Unless you drive through a flood yes.

Will it make the diesel sound better?

Unlikely its a Diesel. Will make turbo sound a little louder

    Will it lose power?

Yes due to the nature of how diesels are mapped and use airflow meters any minor changes in intake restrictions and exhaust back-pressure are not compensated for and they loose power.
