My wife has a Samsung Galaxy Mini and I have put music on it (MP3's) but when she tries to play them she gets a "File not supported" has anyone got any idea what the problem might be?

    The manual says
    • Some file formats are not supported depending
on the software of the device.
    • If the file size exceeds the available memory, an
error can occur when you open files

Do you have enough free memory to play the files?

What format and size are the files. How did you create them?

Thanks for the reply, they are mp3 format and are on average 2 or 3 mbs per track. The manual states that mp3 are ok

Just to add, the mp3s are from an external hard drive and the same as I've used on my HTC

I have the same phone, do you want to send me an MP3 and I'll see if I have the same problem? I haven't had compatibility issues so far.

I know they are working as I have some of them on my phone. How did you put the mp3s on to your phone?

I just put them on it directly, in the top folder. I didn't bother using Kies.
