Broken iphone 4

    Hi all, bought a second hand iphone and was trying to delete all the persons stuff off it so went into settings and pressed delete all media etc it came up saying "delete iphone". Now its not working. It has the apple logo on the screen and my computer is not reconizing it so can't connect to itunes.
    I'm freaking out as nothing seems to be working, are they really that easy to break?

    Should i bring it to a apple shop?

    Put it into DFU mode and restore in iTunes

    How to put your phone in dfu mode

    1.Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
    2.After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button.
    3.Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
    *The iPhone screen will remain black when the phone is in DFU mode

    Sounds like it was jailbroken and went into a loop when you tried to remove everything
