Meteor Phone in England

Just a quick question, if I purchase a Meteor phone here and send it to my friend in England, will me free calls and texts still work with said phone? :)

Afraid not, if that was the case, there'd be no such things as "roaming charges". Meteor aren't the worst for roaming charges, you pay the same as you would here in most of Europe, that is 12c/text and 30c/minute afaik..

Ah but you see my sister recently moved over to England and I've had free calls and texts to her meteor phone?
