    Having had the real thing cooked by a Ballyconnell lady, I can testify that the bought stuff is not a patch on the real thing.

    That is very true. I think fresh boxsty tastes much better. I might have a go at making it myself. Its just the time consuming grating of the potatoes that puts me off. But apparently you can put them in a food blender to speed things up.
