Tax Credit Reductions

I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light as to whether I can claim back tax credits.
At the beginning of the tax year 2011, Revenue decreased my tax credits by 1809.60 because my husband was claiming jobseekers. However, during the year his jobseekers ceased and has not claimed any social welfare since. My tax rate band went down by a total of 9048 euros as a result of this (I have gone over by standard rate cut off point by about 6ooo).
Is it possible that in the new tax year that I will be able to claim back the credits or get a refund for tax year 2011 for the time that he wasn't claiming jobseekers?

P.S my tax credit has been the same since January.

As the figure of DSP income was input for 52 weeks you will be able to have Revenue change that to however many weeks he actually claimed. That will result in a refund of tax to you if you are paying tax on your wages.
If you are paid weekly, then if you call the 1890 service on Monday, you should just be in time for a new cert to issue to your employer to enable them to refund you through your wages before the end of the year.
If not, then you will have to wait until you get your P60 for 2011 and then contact Revenue who will end up processing a review and refunding anything due.
