    From each group which team do you think will top their individual groups and what percentage of the time do you think they will top that group?

    On paper, Russia should absolutely walk Group A.

    The group of death (B) will more than likely have a surprise or two but Germany are just so damn efficient, they're like a well-oiled machine when they're in form.

    Obviously cannot see past Spain in our group, although us & Italy could will provide them with tough test in breaking down teams (like England @ Wembley recently).

    Finally, I feel Sweden will top group D, although that's a tough one with the unpredictability of France, Ukraine playing in front of their home crowd and of course England.

    What are the percentages from a betting point of view?

    group d will probably have to be left for a couple of games in the meantime to see what players are likely to feature, specifically englands midfield.

    I don't know about that;) It's definitely the toughest group to predict... depends if France show up! England without Rooney for the group stages remember...

    Powers are going 6/5 for Russia and 4/7 for Spain.

    I will be having a double on that closer to the off once squads are more concrete.

    As far as outright winners are concerned, I can only see 3 teams competing with Spain for the trophy, and they are all in the same group! (Germany/ Netherlands/ Portugal)

    I dont see any value in the outright or top goalscorer markets this year as the groups are not set up for anybody to get a run of high scoring games and expect to progress much beyond the quarter finals like Villa had everyting set up for him to win the golden boot at the WC and it was only a missed penalty that cost him in the end.

    Top and bottom of the groups will be the only markets I'll be looking at.
