I really want to get one but no idea where. What's the equivalent to Game Stop over here? Also, are they region locked or unlocked?

It is completely region locked for all 3DS games and DSiWare content, but not 100% sure what region Thailand is in (probably Japan), so you will have to buy all your (3DS) games from there.
