Non-skinny jeans!

    Hi all,

Just a quick one that's been really bugging me lately - anyone know anywhere (highstreet or otherwise) where I can actually buy good fitting, non-skinny jeans that aren't bootcut or flares? You know, straight legged or ones you can tuck into boots. Tight fitting is grand but I can't find a nice pair that are either not so skinny in the legs that the circulation is cut off in your calves or gaping at the waist! Coloured ones are a dream of mine but I'm not holding my breath!

    Thanks!

Massimo Dutti have straight leg jeans usually - you could go orange... maybe not

Some of the brands targeted at the slightly older lady usually have straight leg because skinny after early/mid 30s doesn't work so well

And surely Gap. Tho I find them very big in the hips

As well as Massimo Dutti, Zara has a decent selection too. However, they're usually coloured cotton ones rather than 'blue-jeans', if you get me.

Have you tried TopShop Martha Straight jeans?

+1 for the Martha jeans in TopShop. Nice and straight but not skinny.

A/Wear is your place to go. Every time I go looking for skinnies I'm bewildered by the amount of straight legged jeans they stock. Try get to a larger store for better variety (twill, washes, lengths etc)

I got some in Tesco, €18.50, perfect fit on the waist, they're skinny but not super skintight. Perfect with boots. Lots of colour options as well, I got the mocha brown colour and I may be going back for the purple, or maybe the wine..:D

Dorothy Perkins have them online - usually they only have skinny jeans in the actual shops but they have a much better selection online

TK Maxx usually have slightly out of season cuts. I haven't been able to find nice jeans in regular shops for a year or two!

A Wear's brightly coloured straight legged jeans are a very strange cut on me. The front of the crotch has too much material and the bum doesn't have enough in my size, and a size up is too big at the waist!
