Rust forming on 07 Avensis

Hi All, Just spotted a Rust patch on my Car in the last few days, it seems to have appeared overnight as would have spotted it before now. My car is only 4years old so not sure why this is after happening. Does anyone know has Toyota any form of warranty for this or shall I just go and get fixed asap. Thanks

Hi All,

Just spotted a Rust patch on my Car in the last few days, it seems to have appeared overnight as would have spotted it before now.

Does anyone know has Toyota any form of warranty for this or shall I just go and get fixed asap.

Most manufacturers will have an anti corrosion warranty, but that doesn't apply to any area of the car which has stone chips, scratches, or has been repaired to a poor standard.

Are you sure there wasn't any damage to the paint where the rust is, or any previous crash repairs?

Its extremely unlikely that an 07 Toyota would rust with reason.

Where on the body is it? They don't rust unless badly repaired.
