do all bus eireann inter-county buses have wi-fi?

Not all, some may not have it switched on by the driver or not have it installed. I took one up to Cavan and had coverage all the way there but there was nothing on the way back.

When you click on bus eireann wifi does the splash screen open up in the browser? How can I troubleshoot this...

Searched a few times myself on my i phone, have never found a network. Would be very handy if they did fully roll it out.

Being able to connect to the bus's network does not mean that the actual broadband source is turned on and operating. afaik the broadband comes from a mobile device which is placed on the dash of the bus but the network is just the same as a wireless router, it is useless without the phone line/cable attached.

Anyway to look at videos on bus eireann, last time I tried it said something about the server not being configured but are they doing it purposely?

Does the log-in page come up when you open safari? You normally have to wait for that before it works

Defo a Wickla head on those buses! :P
Only some of the longer routes have wi-fi. They haven't rolled it out to the commuter routes

It is in the process of being rolled out.

If it doesn't take you automatically to the login page when connecting to Wifi on Bus Eireann go here:

    https://portal.moovmanage.com/buseireann/connect.php

It should take you automatically to this page when you try to access any website but that doesn't always happen.

Nothing to do with the driver, there is no facility to turn it off from the cab bar turning the engine off.
