    Hi,

Does anyone know how to add a new satellite to the list menu on an Edision Mini 2in1 ip?

I can see the satellite list (complete with additional 'blank' options) in the sat installation menu, but I can't yet see how to add a new satellite position to one of the blank options. There is an function to rename a satellite (I can rename one of the blank options), but I can't find where to input it's position.

I am probably missing something silly - anyone know what it is?

when you rename it call it the sat position, and out of interest what sat are you trying to add? there's loads already in there.

I'll give that a go, thanks.

I am looking to add 16 East - just because it's there.
I enjoy spinning the motor around and seeing what it picks up.

Sad, but true..... I'll get me coat :o

hang on, that sat should be pre prgrammed to the box are you using USALS with the motor? whats the make of motor?

16E was on the box originally, but it got deleted accidentally when trying out some channel and satellite list software.

I am using a motek motor with usals on an 80cm dish - working well for the past five years.

ah got you, thats a good motor, all you need do is add the sat and call it 16east, and then put usals etc, by the way 16east has a new sat now so signal is way up, i can give you a fta channel if you need it. and if you reset box to factory 16east should come back but you start all over.

i use a switch on my edision and really got it for DTT.
