grant query again

Hi,

Today I finally received notification of student grant but just not entirely sure about what it means.
It says Amount Awarded: 1250
Fees: Postgraduate Tuition up to 6,270
Does this mean I get fees paid and maintenance? Sorry if this sounds stupid but I didnt think I was eligible for maintenance so I am thrown slightly.
Or is it 1250 only?

You have been awarded Maintenance Grant at the Adjacent Rate €1250 for the year. It could come as 3 x 416.66 payment or 833.33 and a payment of 416.66 around Easter depending on when they issue it to the college. Plus your fee's are paid directly to your college

Payment dates are usually Oct/Nov, Jan and April but can change depending on the council.

Agent_99, maybe you could answer a quick question for me also.I have been awarded Special rate maintenance Grant(non adjacent) of €3120 and Student Contribution element of fee grant €2,000.Now I'm new to all this grant lark so not sure how to collect it. I got €1000 lodged into my account last week.I don't know is that for the fee grant or maintenance and do they lodge it all into my account over the year or do I have to collect any of it from fees office in college?
I have rang to council to ask but its impossible to get through.

They usually pay the college fees directly and then if they are paying into your own account that's where they'll keep paying
