I have sufficient PRSI contributions to be eligible for JB . I am currently claiming non-contributory benefit in the UK after spending a few months in the country due to a bereavement . I intend to leave UK shortly and go back to Ireland - left there last September - and claim JB whilst looking for work . I will sign off…

I have sufficient PRSI contributions to be eligible for JB . I am currently claiming non-contributory benefit in the UK after spending a few months in the country due to a bereavement . I intend to leave UK shortly and go back to Ireland - left there last September - and claim JB whilst looking for work . I will sign off in the UK shortly . Although rules for claiming JB seem straightforward , will my claim in UK be detrimental to my JB claim in any way , and will I need to produce evidence that I am no longer receiving Uk benefit ? Cheers .
