hello guys i just want to ask if Dublin bus could access the cctv in the bus if i requested them to.

My bank of ireland cardholder got stolen and in it were important cards which cost dearly to replace.

I left the bus about to get another one and as i realised i dont have it in a space of 1min i went back and it wasn't there.

i called dublin bus and went to their HQ and no luck.

Frankly you are asking a hell of a lot to do very little here. You can request the CCTV via Data Protection laws but ask yourself exactly what good it will do and what will it prove? Unless you were on a bus of people you personally can ID, then the Gardai won't be of any use here either.

The cctv could at least show whole took at when i dropped off.

and as i knew who was sitting right behind me i could identify them easily.

Sure you are legally entitled to the CCTV

But then there is the obligation to blur out the faces of everyone other that you before releasing it to you.

Report the loss to the gardai and your bank.

Unless you personally know the identity of them it's just going to show a picture of the person behind you. Best off to cancel the cards and get on with things.
