I have no idea but if it was me i'd buy 2 seperate vouchers to be safe, I wouldn't risk it tbh.

    It's really badly worded!

Yes. A name of the voucher and a name of the passenger(s) travelling must match with traveller's passport in order to redeem the voucher.

My interpretation would be that if it's in your mother's name and then she's on the booking then it's fine, however your dad couldn't book a solo trip with the voucher. TBH, I'd give them a ring for clarity before making the purchase.

Sorry to reopen an old thread, I was looking to use my aer lingus voucher to purchase a flight and got an notice that due to security reasons my voucher was locked and to contact customer service, has anyone seen this, it is definetly an inconvience if you have to ring up customer service anytime you want to use a voucher online?

My voucher is in date til end of year and i was using it towards flights for two people one of which was in my own name as per the name of the voucher.

sent an email to customer care in the meantime.

I would call them unless you are happy to wait 2 weeks to receive a response to your email, or not at all!

Did anybody ever find this out? Can i use a voucher for two poeple on the same flight?
    Thanks,
    Chris

EDIT: got response from aerlingus and as long as named person is on the flight it can be used for more than one person (not for group bookings though - 7 people or more)
