ok so im in the market for a longer looking gun e.g. scar h ssr, m16a4, g36 (not the K the original) that sort of thing. Can anybody give me some insight into which would be better or worse or cheaper or more expensive etcetra etcetra.

of your options listed i would go with the m16 for the following reasons:
reliable design
easy to source mags and other add ons
large choice of upgrade parts
lots of battery options due to the large battery compartment in the stock

or you could look at getting a FAL....................

cheers now i dont suppose you could tell me where i van get one of those because i CAN NOT find any on irish sites either they ain't there or im not looking properly (most probably the latter) :rolleyes:

Mid West Airsoft have an M16 here, Airsofteire have a G&G M16 here and a Classic Army M16 here
May well be worth your while giving a few places a ring as some do not update the web site on a regular basis
