Where would one get specialised legal pension information in Dublin or anywhere that wouldnt break the bank? How expensive would it be?

On what grounds did the Pensions Board fob you off?

Was it because the query was not within their remit?

There are two Ombudsmen in Ireland that deal with complaints to do with pensions, depending on the type of penson - the Financial Services Ombudsman and the Pensions Ombudsman.

I'd be inclined to exhaust those avenues before hiring a lawyer as I know a few pensions lawyers and they don't come cheap.

If you want to post the broad details of your issue here, you might get some more specific pointers.

They did not believe me and believed every word of the company rhetoric.
"Highly respected" company just lied and accepted. How does one person get the creditability to go against a big company?

Hard to comment based on the information given. Is the "big company" a pension company? An employer? A pension scheme trustee?

What's the nature of the complaint?

Do you have documented evidence of your side of the complaint?
