I'm currently higgest bidder for a patriots jersey on ebay, it's a christmas present for someone, He normally wears a mans large in t-shirts as he is tall but thin.

The problem I've just noticed is that in the auction the biggest size is youth size XL ?

I've heard the jerseys are usually very big and was wondering if this be ok or is it really small ?

Only 8 hours left of the auction so help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

As a rule when purchasing NFL or NBA jerseys I buy one size smaller than I am in Irish sized clothing.

I purchase Large sized american sports gear and generally take XL when purchasing in Ireland.

Youth sized XL would be far too small for him and would equate to a small mens or medium at the very, very most.

    Hope this helps.

Nice one Paully, will contact the seller and see if he can source me an adults size ?

If not anyone know where I might find a Gronkowski shirt online in time for christmas ?

Tried the patriots page but they are looking for mad money when you include shipping costs.

    Thanks again lads.

Try 'The All-American Sports Store' on Amazon.co.uk, no customs costs and they're proper official jerseys. I got myself a Ravens one from there for €80 in total including delivery, it's still expensive but much cheaper than buying from the NFL store.

Other than that try Ebay and tick the UK and Ireland sellers only box.

I'm not on the computer at the minute but if you haven't had any luck I'll have a look for you tonight and see if I can find anything for you.

i normally would be between a medium and large t-shirt size. With NFL jerseys, small is a perfect fit for me.

I've had a quick look mate and can't find any Gronkowski shirts from the usual places I check, but there's a Wes Welker small one here for €60 all in. It's a small size mens but you say he's quite thin so this would probably be fine:

There's another small or medium sized Welker one here for around €75 all in, if you preferred to take the chance on a medium rather than a small then this would obviously be more suited for you:

There's a few Brady one's around too but they're in large and I fear they'd be too big.

Cheers lads, thanks for all the help, just waiting on this ebay seller to confirm he'll reject my bids so i can buy it some where else.

This would be so much easier if he didn't want a Gronkowski shirt !

They're too risky these days as there's a very good chance they'll be stopped by customs.

From my (albeit brief) search the best option would be to pay the extortionate price on their NFL store for a Gronkowski jersey or ask him if he'd take a different player on the back such as Welker as it would be much easier and cheaper to get.

Yeah I think he'll be getting a different player wether he likes it or not.

Thanks again lads for all the help.

I would imagine so. It's nothing unusual though, they cracked down in the same fashion on sites illegally streaming NFL games about a year ago.
