Tonsilitis

Hi, I'm feel so tired after having tonsillitis every 2 weeks..I take antibiotics for week,then one week feel ok,then again tonsillitis for week,and again all same. I feel like my doctor don't take my illness seriously.When he was away,in clinic was worked other doctor,and she told me,when my tonsils looks very damaged…

Hi, I'm feel so tired after having tonsillitis every 2 weeks..I take antibiotics for week,then one week feel ok,then again tonsillitis for week,and again all same.
I feel like my doctor don't take my illness seriously.When he was away,in clinic was worked other doctor,and she told me,when my tonsils looks very damaged after having to much illnesses,so they should be removed.I completely agree with that.
So if my doctor send me to hospital,after how long time I can expect surgery(public patient waiting list)?
Is there really is waiting list up to one year?
Also I cant use antibiotics every second week,because that's destroys immune system.I will start work very soon,and don't want miss my job.I live Dublin,so there probably hospitals are very busy for surgery's.
Any suggestions,please?
