    I believe renault have a bad rep in the past, is this still the case


    Its too early to tell if the reliability of those new models has improved yet but you also need to consider how you will be using the car. A modern small diesel is not suitable for constant shopping/school runs.

    Yes they damn well are. The whole "Fiats will break down" image is long gone, peoples views to that are not. Hence the bad image to this day.

    I saw a red 09 150 T-jet in a forecourt for around the €6.5k mark in Dublin. I pass it every day :)
