    Hi Guys...

I recently bought a Remote Central Locking Kit for My Octavia.

This is the one here... http://www.rclick.co...products_id=671

A friend of Mine was checking it earlier,,as he was going to fit it during the week. He's an ex car alarm installer.

Anyway,,on checking the relay with his tester,,he can get the central locking to close,,but he can't find which of the wires is for opening it. He presumed it would be close to the opening wire, but it's not.

He's trying to check if the relay is a "Negative Trip" ??

Would anyone have any idea about this??

The car is a 02 Octavia TDi with the ALH engine. It has Central locking, with full closure.

    Thanks.......

He knows what he's doing alright..Although he has been out of that line of business for a few years now...

He can find the wire to open the central locking,,,but not the one to close it...That's from the relay underneath the steering wheel.

I had a look on google there, and it does seem to be a common problem.
