what bhp are the smaller diesel units

    ok just wondering what bhp are the smaller diesel engines producing eg
    1.3 cdti opel engine
    1.4 hdi
    1.4 d4d engine
    1.4 tdi engine
    any others smaller than 1.4

    Ranging from 70-100, off the top of my head.

    Jesus lad, just get a petrol, I know what your thinking, Diesel is a false economy in the newer tax bands unless you do the mileage.

    Torque figures are more important than bhp when it comes to diesel engines.

    what kind of miles per gallon would that get. No i was just wondering the bhps because a lot of posters here say how nippy the 1.3cdti in astras etx are but watched top gear last night and jermy was driving the 1.4 tdi skoda roomster and he was saying how slow it was and actually got less mpg compared to the alfa meto and toyota hotpoint

    Fuel consumption (combined) 85.6 mpg :)
