It think it was Bill Clinton who discovered that Oral is indeed sex!

    From here
If a person is infected with any of the following STDs, there is a risk they could transmit the infection via oral sex.
    • The most common STD transmitted via oral sex is herpes. There are two main types of herpes simplex virus (HSV): HSV type 1, which usually causes cold sores around the mouth, and HSV type 2, which generally causes sores around the genitals. If a person has HSV type 1 and they give oral sex to another person, the herpes could be transmitted to the genital area of the other person, causing genital sores. This process can also work in reverse, with HSV-2 transmitting from the genitals to the mouth of the other person during oral sex, though this is rare.
    • Gonorrhoea can easily be transmitted via oral sex. The infection is usually passed from infected genitals to a person's throat, but can also be passed from an infected throat to a person's genitals. The body will almost always naturally clear the throat of the bacteria that cause gonorrhoea within three months, although infections in the genital tract will usually require antibiotics to cure.
    • Syphilis is easily transmitted during oral sex if a person’s mouth comes into contact with an open sore or a skin rash caused by the infection.
    • It is possible (but thought to be not very common) for the human papillomavirus, which causes genital warts, to be transmitted through oral sex.
    • Chlamydia can infect the throat via oral sex, although this is thought to be uncommon. People with chlamydia may not have any symptoms and may not be aware they are infected.
    • The hepatitis A virus is found in human faeces, and may be passed on during anal-oral sex.
    • Hepatitis B is contained in sexual fluids and blood and may be transmitted during oral sex in a similar way to HIV (see below).
    • Hepatitis C is generally only contained in blood, and will only be transmitted if there is blood present during oral sex.
    • Gastrointestinal infections and parasites may be passed on during oral contact with the anus.

In a word, No! Always use condoms. Even the girls are advised to use some form of barrier.

Without sounding like an preachy parent I am going to be a preachy parent !!!!
I think you need to get a little sense of reality and learn about sex matters and STIs as you come across as quite naive.
From previous threads you started you said you were a 23 old "straight " male who wanted to have anal sex with someone and assumed that going to the boilerhouse was an "easy lay".
Then you said you were going to meet somene off gaydar ,now you are asking about oral sex..
Some of the above are valid questions ,BUT firstly a straight man doesnt have anal sex with another man nor does he go on gaydar .
We all go through a process as it were questioning our sexuality ,for some its quite easy and straight forward (no pun intended) others its a long process and can be difficult .
Now if you are questioning your sexuality ,you NEED to get info regarding sex facts and possibly consquences.
Having anal sex for the first time with a stranger is in my opinion is not ideal ,you should wait until you find that "special one "...
Having said that if you do want to go meet guys for sex ,just be sure you play safe AT ALL TIMES,no matter how passionate you might get at the time .!!!
    End of lecture ,,,,,,,,
    pm if you want anytime

honestly, it's a bit silly for a straight man to go seek anal sex at the boiler house, go on gaydar looking for sex with men and then seek information on giving blow jobs, like really come on.

Some people get their "kicks" just asking such questions in furums like this.

Oh come on, the OP is just a little bicurious, leave him alone. Don't eat the head off him (no pun intended).

Anyway, the OP didn't ask any questions about his sexuality so I think discussing that is just de-railing the thread. It's none of our business anyway.

Depends where you live. Here's a catalogue of them http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=152605

an HSE list of free clinics
    http://www.hse.ie/eng/services/Find_a_Service/Sexualhealth/

If you're in Dublin you might be most interested most in the GMHS, specifically for men who have sex with men (I don't know your gender)
    http://www.hse.ie/eng/services/Find_a_Service/Sexualhealth/Gay_Men's_Health_Service/STI_Clinics/

If you're super concerned and want to see someone ASAP, the clinic I've worked at once or twice has a free walk in clinic at 8am tomorrow (amongst other days). It's at St James's (again mainly helpful if you're in Dublin).
    http://www.stjames.ie/Departments/DepartmentsA-Z/G/GenitoUrinaryMedicineandInfectiousDiseases/DepartmentOverview/

Any STI clinic will be sensitive to LGBT issues, so don't worry about that. If you're concerned about HIV exposure, any A+E department in any hospital can provide PEP and organise an HIV test at walk in EDIT: this is only if exposure was in last 72 hours. If you think you have had exposure to an HIV+ partner you should seriously consider this.

I hope I've covered everything, and I hope you're OK.

Also, if you're a student any campus health centre will have an STI clinic and offer testing with privacy and confidentiality assured.
