How many phones have you lost?

I just don't get it. I have had a phone for over 15 years now, and not once have I ever lost any of them.

But nearly all the girls I am friends with lose them on a regular basis. Last week I was talking to one of my friends and literally she hung up the phone and it was never seen again. This is her 3rd phone this year.

Anyway, how many have you lost, would love to see who wins this with the highest number.

A new phone, knowing your luck it will get lost in the post.

Just the one. Nothing funny about it though.

Never actually lost one, but many seem to have suffered a water related death for some reason... in fact it's now mandatory for my new phones to watch a water safety video after being bought.

I lost my first ever phone. A Phillips Savvy, it was. Lovely little thing. Played Mozart for my ring-tone and had a clock on the screen long before Nokia did.

Ah, the joys of being twelve...

More a case of how many have I either destroyed, lost or had stolen...

The first phone I bought was a Siemens C35 (2000)... I fell into a drain and that was the last of that phone. No amount of drying would bring it back to life.

The next phone I bought was a Siemens C45.... some **** broke into my car and stole that while I was out GAA training in the Pheonix Park. The replacement (same) landed in the toilet about 6 months later. Dead.

I then had a few phones in between before another one was stolen. This time my phone was lifted out of my jacket (a Nokia 6233).

And then there was the most emotional of them all (and most recent).... the iPhone 4. Left that on a table outside a well known boozer in the city. Never to be seen again. I nearly cried the following day when I woke up sufficiently enough to figure out WTF happened.

I've had my fair share of bad luck with phones....

When said girl gets it off with a stranger after a night out... the phone often disappears. A combination of the exhilirating experience and the drink/drugs. She leaves the strange gaff in a daze the next morning WITHOUT her phone.

One. Though I walked my first iPhone into a jacuzzi in Cape Cod in Massachusetts, and I broke my second iPhone by bashing it against a wall in frustration in Portugal. Stupid loading times

My new iPhone is doing grand for the moment, we'll see how long that lasts though... :P

2, one I dropped in a car while hitch hiking, they were lovely people and mailed it back to me! :), so not really lost.

Another I was drunk off my ass at Electric picnic and I woke up without my phone or wallet, had gone out in just shorts with shallow pockets so my own fault...was talking to a friend later saying I lost it, and was told they had found a phone and wallet in their tent the next morning, weirdly, they were mine, I don't know how they got there, but I still have and use both! :)

Technically lost one - left it on the bus on way into town. Realised this 5 minutes later & called my number from someone else's phone. A guy answered and said he'd meet me in 10 minutes with it - and he did, I was amazed!

So haven't really lost any completely.

I've never lost a phone but have dropped the same one down (a clean/not used yet) toilet 3 times :o

I've just put 'lost phone in 02' into search on this site...and what do you know...people have been posting about lost phones this very day!

My daughter thinks she left her phone in the loo in the O2 last night - she was at Kasabian. I wonder is there any chance at all of her getting it back?

(She has lost/broken quite a few phones in her time...she's had this latest one since August:()

I lost my beloved nokia 3410 in a leisure centre bathroom when I was 13 :(

Lost my first and dearly beloved iPhone 3GS on the bumper cars at the carnival, I realised it was gone about 30 seconds after I got off. Went back in and looked for it, the staff looked in all the cars and we rang it too to no avail, someone had picked it up in those 30 seconds and fecked off with it. Meteor gave me a free android phone as an upgrade but after a week I couldn't hack it any longer and bought my second iPhone 3GS which is still going strong over a year and four screens later!

I have never lost a phone.

My brother has lost four though, and he's lost his wallet and right now he is stranded in London 'cause he lost his passport over there.

I'll probably jinx myself by saying it but I've never lost one (forever). I 'misplaced' one once but I got it back a few hours later cos the fella who found it rang my mam.

none i have my first phone 10 years and just bought a second.

If it is a good phone it's gonna be lost within 6 weeks or more likely broken since it's definitely more sensitive than the one that lasted 10 years.
