What character do you like the most, from anything - Film, Books, TV, Video games etc ?

    It's a tough question.

But seeing as I just got up to date with Breaking Bad, I'm going to say Walter "Heisenberg" White. He's a good guy doing bad things for his family. Honestly there could be easily 100 more I could choose.

The way he ended up murdering his son ruined Heisenberg for me.

Three stand out for me at the moment are

Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series

    And

Nick Naylor from Thank You For Smoking

But both get beaten by Edmund Dantes

Count Dracula would be up there, the amount of variations of the character that have existed is crazy, with the original book being the best version naturally enough. The influence the character has had on the horror genre alone is probably unmatched.

Paulie Walnuts in the Sopranos is who I would consider my favourite, as opposed to best, per se. Such an all round loveable lunatic.

    Vito Corleone.

Absolutely fascinating character and you can chronicle his life from Sicily to becoming the most powerful Mafia head in America. You learn much more about his life in the novel but Pacino and De Niro do fantastic portrayals of him in the films as well.

    Omar,
    Frank sobotka
    Clay davies
    Lester
It goes on and on ,

But I think number one is Hannibal lector, love that pyscho

    Charlie Sheen...

Not sure who my favourite is, but Snape from the Harry Potter books would be up there as one of the "best". (My reasons are spoilered as courtesy to those who haven't read all the books.)
I mean it's one thing to sacrifice your life knowing people will remember you has a hero, he goes on living knowing that all good people hate him, knowing that what he is doing is for the greater good. He sacrifices his own reputation for the cause of good, the real hero of the books if you ask me.

And yet I've only bothered seeing the first three films...

Oh and Desmond and Ben from Lost are pretty good too, along with Barney from HIMYM...
