    Hi Everyone

Just a quick question, recently someone slowly reversed into my right headlight , there was no visible damage so I didn't realise there was any problems until the "replace bulb" light came on.

I had the front right bi-xenon bulb replaced but it still wont light and the bulb light still shows.
Someone suggested it could be the bulb ballast (),

if anyone has any experience with these bulb systems or any suggestions of their own - please let me know.

(Main dealer will not cover this repair under warrenty as they advised that there was a slight crack allowing condensation into the headlight which was "blowing" the bulb - although the condensation is a problem, it is definitely not blowing the bulbs )

    Thanks guys

Do you have the details of the person who reversed into your car? Replacing the entire headlight could cost big enough money.

I hope you have the details of who hit you as these units are an absolute fortune added to that if the headlight is cracked it will have to be replaced too as condensation will get in again and blow the ballast !

    Thanks for the replies.
Don't have the details of whoever reversed into me, it more than likely happened in a car park though.

The only light not working is the bi-xenon, the rest work perfectly.

Is it not a bit strange that the ballast went but not the bulbs ?
