    Hi all,

I just got a job for Christmas!!:) contract says I'll be fin 24th dec but Hr manager said they might keep one or two of us on after xmass!

Neways I need to think ahead if the worst happens and I have no job again:( will I have to wait long to get my JSA back? Also I was interested in doing one of those intern jobs(plz no harsh comments regarding jobbridge as I know I'll only take a job that wud benefit me) but you have to be signing 3 months so if I work for a month then get let go 'll be back to square one? It says on their site that if you have done recognized training eg FAS course which I have that would be accepted, do Ye think I'd be eligible for it then instead of waiting a other 3 months:(

    Thanks all comments appreciated :D

Hi if you have a contract stating your finish date bring it to your local social welfare if it less than 6 weeks they will suspend your claim as opposed to closing it , this allows your claim to be reopened straight away . If you do finish up and sign on again , you will be eligible for jobsbridge as your Last claim was in the previous six months so can be counted . Hope that helps
