    Lot of musos come through here on a daily basis, and I thought it'd be interesting to see what their primary focus is... Me? I'm an originals guy...

    Oh yeah, and it's multi-choice, so you can choose any that apply. In theory, I suppose, someone could tick all the boxes. But that person would probably best be described by the "I just wanna rock" optoion...

    Why is there a "Guy at party" option? If you are that guy you're probably not on here looking for a band :).

    Personally I'm focused about 80% on originals, 20% on covers. When it comes to covers I prefer to put my own slant on the song rather than slavishly reproducing the original note for note.

    Can't vote on boards touch.

    Decided to form an originals band on here back in Jan, found a songwriting partner and worked on songs between Feb and June, found band members between June and Oct and I am now in rehearsals with them. Hope to start gigging in the new year.

    It's been a long bloody journey...

    I get no sanctification playing covers anymore, not in a band anyway. I like the effort it takes to gel all your influences together to come up with original songs, always rewarding when it works out.

    Good point! I was trying to logically work through the gamut of pro to amateur options. The results so far support what my casual observation suggested...
