Will parents lose household benefits if son claims jobseekers allowance?

Hi, im just wondering about this. My father has been been on invalidity pension for a number of years and he claims for my mother aswell I think. I'm 22 and recently out of college. My father thinks that if I claim jobseekers allowance he will lose his household benefits - is this true?

Your father is correct,all persons living in the house must be eligible for the household benefits package.
