    Good evening!

I am looking at purchasing a pair of binoculars for viewing aircraft at altitude (30-40,000 feet) and on approach & take off.
If possible I also enjoy viewing the birds in my garden on various bird feeders!
Can u recommend a pair of binoculars, maybe with a stand that would suit & wheres the best place to purchase them?
Am looking at spending around €100!

    Thank you!

Hi! Any feedback on binoculars or telescope for
    1) Viewing aircraft at close range and at altitude on a clear day (30,000 feet plus)
    2) which could also be used for viewing birds, wildlife etc in my garden, and on the mudflats of Bull Island,

Something good quality, compact and best value for price!
Can spend up to approx 150 Euro!

    Appreciate your advice!

I think the lack of response shows that no-one here had any experience of using binoc's to watch aircraft.

Maybe better luck in the wildlife forum, or even the space and astronomy forum. I know people use binoc's for stargazing.

Might be worth asking in the Horse Racing forum too.
A lot of folk over there would know a thing or two about a decent pair of binoculars.

I use a pair of Nikon Action 10-22x50 zoom binoculars and would highly recommend them. They are ideal for watching overflying aircraft or viewing wildlife - are solidly built and the optics are quite good even up at full zoom.
    They should cost around €120.
