Selling a Carbon Felt Road Bike.

    You have two options for the frame, a 2010 Felt F1 frame, size 54cm or a 2010 Felt F4 frame,size 56cm.

I bought the bike this time last year, bought the 54cm but it was a little too compact for me, so got a 56cm frame instead. The bike has had very little use, hence I am selling it as its too good to keep.

The bike comes with full Dura Ace groupset which has very little mileage on it. The bike comes with Zipp 404 Tub wheels with Vittoria competition tyres. I have 2 spare tryes which are new which are included in the sale.
The bike comes with the Felt carbon seatpost and bars.
The only minor item which is purely cosmetic is the lacquer on the removable cover on the shifters/breaks has come off.
    Pedals are not included.

So to clarify, the bike is currently built on the 56 frame, but I will build the 54 if interested.
The bike is located in Dublin.

Price for complete bike is 3200 euro for the F1 frame option, bike was close to 7000 euro new, or 3000 euro for the F4 frame option.

If you have any questions let me know, <snip>

    Hi Transporting

Just wondering if you'd let the wheels seperate?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 124 ✭✭Transporting

At the moment I want to leave it as a complete bike and see if there is interest in it.

No trouble all the best with the sale

    Other than the price!

I'm very vaguely interested in the 56cm F4 with everything but the wheels. Something to keep in mind if you were thinking of splitting.

If your interested in the bike, I am willing to sell without the wheels, no problem at all.

    How much?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 124 ✭✭Transporting

2000 euro without the wheels, as you can see the drivetrain has seen very little of the road, full carbon finishing kit and the frame is spotless.

would you be interested in selling the 54cm frame as a standalone frame? if you are how much would you be looking for it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,200 ✭✭✭manwithaplan

The components are nice but, on reflection, I'd be more interested if I fit the F1. Thanks and good luck with the sale.

interested in bike. can we arrange to meet for test spin?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 124 ✭✭Transporting

No problem at all, will send you a PM to arrange

€500 for the frame, fork and stem.

    Wowee, that is some deal!

This is the exact same frame that Bradley Wiggins rode to 4th place in the Tour. Except he'd have had to ballast his up to make the minimum UCI weight:eek:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 124 ✭✭Transporting

Well it was sitting in the shed not being used as its too small for me, so rather see a frame like that getting used, hence the fair price

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 50 ✭✭kavvoo

    Hi,

Would you sell the wheels on their own?

    Kavvoo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 124 ✭✭Transporting

    HI Kavvoo,

I am waiting to hear back from Squidworth to arrange a meeting to view the bike. Not sure if they are interested in the full bike or without the wheels. If he wants the bike without the wheels then they will be up for sale.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4 squidworth

    Transporting,

Won't be able to view bike for a few days. Also looking at other options. Don't turn down a potential sale on my account. Will PM you when available, if bike is gone so be it. Sorry about misunderstanding.

I have decided to split the bike. I am hoping to only split it into 3 sections.

Zipp 404 Tubular wheels, F&R, (Shimano/Sram) complete with Vittoria Competition Rally 23 Tyres and Dura Ace QR. These wheels have only been used three times, so as you can imagine are in perfect condition. Price 1300 euro

Dura Ace 7900 10 Spd Groupset: This groupset set has seen very little use and there are no signs of wear on any of the components. Included Crankset (175mm), F&R Brakes, shifters, F&R mechs, chain and cassette. Price 900 euro

Felt F4 Frame and Carbon Fork, Felt carbon Bars, Felt carbon seatpost, Stem and saddle included. Price 800 euro
