Hey, I am just wondering about few accessories in airsoft:

Battery box: is it like what? You place battery in it instead of in stock or rail? Atm I am changing stock on my HK416, to the m4 stock and my 4x4 battery doesnt fit there, so as into front rail. So I can place it into battery box and it will work out?

Pistol lanyard: I have spring type pistol lanyard, 1 end goes into pistol, and another where? for best effect? sleeve or what? What's the use of it? prevent pistol from falling and breaking internals?

Regarding the lanyard attach that to your holster if you can.
Regarding batteries I know fúck all.

Basically a battery box would normally fix onto a rail so if your AEG is front wired and has a rail system you can connect it there, if it is wired to the stock then you will probably just have to buy a battery that fits into your new stock, or buy a battery bag to strap onto the stock and store the battery there.

and usually your lanyard would attach to your belt.

Couldn't I just kind of drag wire to front rail?

    No

The wire comes out of the stocktube and i would doubt it would reach all the way to the front of the gun, and even if it did you would have a big wire going all across the body of your aeg, and besides most battery box's wont fit standard batteries, if having a big battery is really important to you then just stick with the full stock and leave it there, but if you want a different stock i would recommend just putting one of these in the tube http://www.airsofteire.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=817&category_id=150&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26

okay well you could bring the wires in throught the reciever and out through one of the gaps in the rail system where it could be connected to the battery box, that way the wires are kept internally, but i still dont think there is a battery box capable of holding that large battery, the stock tube LiPo is still your best bet really.

Well I heard lipo batteries are a bit dodgy ? like exploding and stuff? I am quite bad at keeping fire safety.

well that LiPo should be fine, a 7.4v LiPo is the equivellent of a 9.6v NiMh battery, its perfectly safe to use in a standard AEG and just get a good quality charger for it and nothing will happen:)

you do realise if you have a mobile there is a lipo in that? does your mobile phone ever explode? didnt think so. lipo's are grand once you dont abuse them or use sh1t cheap chargers.

Well first of all airsoft is expensive and you should really know that...and buying a LiPo battery and charger will be around the same price as buying a battery box and a battery that actually fits it, and it will save all the hassle of rewiring too.

Well atm I have just a charger that's not charging all time, it's charging at same rate as battery discharging and it doesn't overcharge batteries so they burn. Think I could trade a lipo battery for my 8 cell battery?
Btw battery box is 15 euro I found seller in Adverts section.
