hi i would appreciate if someone could tell me at what stage/mileage i should get the timing belt done on my car vw jetta 1.6 petrol, it has 54000KM on clock. car is going very well.

The 1.6 8v engines are due to be changed every 4 years, regardless of kms.

The 1.6 fsi engines are chain driven.

Is it an fsi engine, think they have a chain?

Did they even do a non fsi 1.6 in the jetta?
